On August 17, 2017, Sergey Morozov, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, explored the Pilot Production Facility of the Sosny R&D Company as a part of his working visit to Dimitrovgrad. The Governor was shown the workshops where unique equipment is fabricated to produce new types of nuclear fuel at Siberian Group of Chemical Enterprises and to enable radiochemical reprocessing of spent fuel at the Experimental Demonstration Center of the Mining and Chemical Combine.
Valery Smirnov, the Director of Sosny R&D Company, and Vladimir Chesanov, the Technical Director, gave the guests an account of our projects and future considerations of the Company's development.
