On 23 November 2021, a meeting was held to discuss innovative development and long-term growth plans till 2025. The meeting was chaired by Vyacheslav Dmitriyev, Head of the Kuybyshevskaya Railway (a territorial branch of JSС Russian Railways).
The meeting summarized the activities of the RZD Regional Innovation Center "Innovation Transfer". The event also housed an expo that exhibited the cutting-edge developments of the Innovation Сenter residents.
Aleksey Nosov, Chief Engineer of the Sosny R&D Company, attended the meeting. He presented a draft design of a railroad shrub cutting attachment for a track machine. It is designed for cutting and chopping shrubs along the rail tracks and chemical weeding of the adjacent areas.
