The Research and Analysis Department is formed in 2021. Department essential functions:

to prepare and conduct research and development in safety and performance analysis of SNF (RW, RM) handling equipment and technologies developed both in-house and by outside companies,
to study best practices in unique equipment development and manufacture and nuclear technologies implementation in Russia and abroad,
to support research and development activities with experiments, modeling, simulations, and analysis of the results,
to prepare and justify new engineering solutions when developing engineering design documents and manufacturing unique equipment at Sosny R&D Company,
to develop research programs, technical proposals, procedures, concepts, reports, and other project documents related to the development of unique equipment and technologies.
